Privacy Policy
How we handle your data
Monard X is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. Our practices are designed to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018. This policy is effective from 20 June 2026 and replaces all previous versions.
Our core data principle
Monard X tools are built on a transient data model. Documents you upload (CVs, LinkedIn PDFs, job descriptions) are processed in real time and discarded immediately after your session. We do not store your uploaded documents on our servers. Your content is yours.
What we collect
We collect information only when you voluntarily provide it. This includes:
Email address: When you use any of our tools (CV Optimiser, LinkedIn Profile Optimiser, Interview Prep, Salary Benchmark, Career Corner), sign up for notifications, redeem a book code, or contact us. Your email is used to deliver results, verify your identity, and manage your access.
Uploaded documents: CVs (PDF or Word), LinkedIn PDF exports, and job descriptions uploaded to our tools. These are processed in memory during your session and are not stored after processing is complete.
Tool inputs: Job titles, target roles, salary parameters, interview framework selections, and other structured inputs you provide when using our tools. These are used to generate your results and are not retained after your session.
Google account information: If you sign in to the 30 Day Haversack Challenge using Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account identifier. This is used solely to manage your challenge progress.
Payment information: When you purchase a subscription or credit pack, payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. We receive only your email address and confirmation of payment from Stripe.
We do not collect information passively. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking pixels. Providing any information is entirely voluntary.
How we use your information
To deliver tool results: Your email receives your CV Optimiser output, LinkedIn profile pack, interview prep materials, salary benchmark reports, and Career Corner briefings.
To manage access: We track whether you have an active subscription, available credits, or a valid promo code so you can access the features you have paid for or been granted.
To send communications you requested: Book launch notifications, waitlist updates, and verification codes. You will only receive communications you have explicitly signed up for.
To improve our tools: We may use anonymised, aggregated usage patterns (such as which tools are used most frequently) to improve the platform. We do not use your individual documents, inputs, or results for this purpose.
We will not sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to third parties unless required by law.
AI processing
Several Monard X tools use artificial intelligence to generate results. When you use these tools, the text from your uploaded documents and inputs is sent to a third-party AI service (currently Google Gemini, accessed via OpenRouter) for processing. This data is sent over encrypted connections, used solely to generate your results, and is not retained by the AI provider for training or any other purpose beyond fulfilling your request. Monard X does not use your data to train AI models.
Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:
Stripe processes payments for subscriptions and credit packs. Stripe handles all card data directly. We never see or store your payment details. Stripe Privacy Policy
Brevo delivers transactional emails (results, verification codes, welcome messages). Your email address is shared with Brevo solely for email delivery. Brevo Privacy Policy
OpenRouter routes AI processing requests to Google Gemini. Document text is sent for processing and is not stored. OpenRouter Privacy Policy
Google Analytics collects anonymised website usage data (pages visited, session duration, device type). We use this to understand how people use the site. No personal information is shared with Google Analytics. Google Privacy Policy
Google OAuth is used for sign-in to the 30 Day Haversack Challenge only. We receive your name, email, and Google account identifier. No other Google data is accessed.
Data retention
Uploaded documents (CVs, LinkedIn PDFs, job descriptions): Not stored. Processed in memory and discarded immediately.
Email addresses and account records: Retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
Payment records: Retained as required by financial record-keeping obligations. Card details are held by Stripe, not by us.
Haversack Challenge progress: Retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
AI Jargon Buster search queries: Individual queries are not stored or linked to users.
Cookies
This website uses only essential cookies required for the site to operate:
Session cookie: Manages your active session. Expires when you close your browser.
Tool access cookies: Remember your email for CV Optimiser and Salary Benchmark so you do not need to re-enter it each visit. These are functional cookies, not tracking cookies.
We do not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or any third-party tracking cookies. Google Analytics uses its own cookies for anonymised usage data.
